Everything in existence is essentially energy, and from this energy we create our world, including ourselves, through our perceptual apparatus – our minds.
Whether we work with your emotions, your thoughts, your physical body or your soul, we are working with energy.

In energy healing, we work with the energy field directly. This can involve both the simple channelling of healing to where it is needed, and intervening to remove blocks to your vitality, or to repair your field.

Energy healing works on all levels, encouraging your whole system to reorganise itself for best possible health. It can be especially helpful when combined with psychotherapy, as energy work can bypass the usual interruptions created by negative habits of feeling and thinking, and go straight to the part of you that is able to receive and make use of it.

For the last few years I have been studying shamanic traditions of healing. These are ancient traditions which honour the spirit in all things, and include powerful techniques for recovering from trauma and/or illness. I include some of these approaches in the healing work I offer.

Healing sessions usually last 60 minutes and cost £40-£50 to be selected by you according to what you can afford. The first session lasts 75 minutes and costs £50-£65. If you choose to incorporate healing into psychotherapy, it will take place within our usual session time at no extra cost.

About Moira: I have trained widely in the energy healing field, beginning with courses run by the National Federation of Spiritual Healers in the late 1980s, and including crystal healing and esoteric healing. I have been registered as a Healer with the NFSH since 1992. In recent years I have trained in shamanic traditions with Chris Luttichau of Northern Drum. I also have a psychotherapy and counselling practice, and have been registered as a psychotherapist with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) since 1997. My extensive therapy training includes an MSc and Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy. I have also worked as an astrologer since the 1980s, and have the Diploma of the Faculty of Astrological Studies, where I received the 1991 Margaret Hone Award.
